To clarify, I'm not against the point made. I definitely think it would be super cool to see a Mario game emulate a 2D artstyle in 3D.

I think a Mario & Luigi game could do that really well, and Battle League even did it to an extent.

@acidkeylime I mostly use MS Paint as a sketching tool, but I frequently doodle on it as well.

I forgot about some of the tricks mentioned in this thread, and I never thought to use the Shift button for a custom brush! Gotta try those soon.

It's not accurate at all.
Yeah the modern games are definitely lacking in Toad designs, and it sucks. But this image does not acknowledge any of the designs from the modern games.

@TrivialLight Technically 2 M&L games. Although the one had Shroobified versions.

@juliusaurus But Baby DK already looks like Modern DK. For him to suddenly change appearance as a child, and then as an adult, before finally becoming the DK we know today? That's bizarre.
