@Fawfulthgreat64 i essentially updated it to look more like most 2D Mario art looks like.

I did originally have a beak higher up with a larger chin, but it looked weird and I realized that most of the 2D art has the small chin as well.

Today's MS Paint art is DK from memory... but with a lot of different expressions!

Probably a pretty controversial take, but I think a lot of characters designs in TTYD go too overboard on being creative.

Bobbery is my example. Very appealing, memorable design, but he's so unique that I can barely tell he's a Bob-Omb.

The Goomba King also appears within SM64DS and Mario Kart DS, now named "Goomboss". He was created specifically by the star rod, meaning PM64 had to also happen irl
