@StephenJPlant They actually explain this in the final entry of E Gadd's online journal
E Gadd needed to be able to control Gooigi in certain circumstances. Originally he used a remote, but it didn't work & almost killed him. Transferring consciousness was his solution

@CoolioDavid Looks like a mix between Super Mario Galaxy Mini Goomba and Goombo
@jbx9001 Kongs likely age FASTER than real world gorillas.
Jump man is confirmed to be Mario on numerous occasions. Most notably, in Super Mario Odyssey.
And we have precedent for Kongs aging really fast, as in-universe DK Jr and Tiny become adults after just a small amount of time.
@unfounded_r @juliusaurus Cranky Kong was redesigned with many features resembling DK's classic design. Including a lower mouth, more oval-shaped eyes, and most notably, a protruding nose (something modern DK did not have). His cartoony pupils further distance his design from modern DK.
Alternative design that definitely no one believes, but I thought the idea was too funny to not share
Kamek Shell Deniers when they see the Mario Movie design and try to explain how he just "has a bad back"
@mariokarttourEN Emblem on Kart is too blurry to make out. Saw someone suggest Pauline, but I can't really see anything. If anything it kinda looks like King Boo's emblem to me.
Today's MS Paint art is Donkey Kong (Young Cranky)'s head from memory.
