"I know I'm human, and if you were all these things then you'd just attack me right now, so some of you are still human. This thing doesn't want to show itself, it wants to hide inside an imitation. It'll fight if it has to, but it's vulnerable out in the open."

"No sound, once made, is ever truly lost. In electric clouds, all are safely trapped, and with a touch, if we find them, we can recapture those echoes of sad, forgotten wars, long summers, and sweet autumns." - Ray Bradbury, NOW AND FOREVER (2007). Art by Greg Bear.

"One thing [Dino de Laurentiis] threw at me was TOTAL RECALL. I'm getting a terrible headache just saying that; it's pulsing through my eye like a big hatpin. I should've seen it coming but didn't. Or I wanted it to work out so badly that I pretended it could." - David Cronenberg
