This Ghanaian poster for John Carl Buechler's FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VII: THE NEW BLOOD (1988) is really quite something. There is no hockey mask gracing this one as Jason's decayed face (as well as an array of his mutilated victims) are explicitly revealed.

Here's the legendary Bernie Wrightson's magnificent drawing of the "Norris Spider Head" from John Carpenter's THE THING (1982). The prolific horror comic book artist died in Texas, in 2017, aged 68.

This truly nightmarish apparition, created by the great Dick Smith, was excised from the final cut of GHOST STORY (1981) by director John Irvin for apparently being "too disturbing" (duh!) It was meant to cause Melvyn Douglas's character to die of fright/heart attack.
