You may have noticed the image I posted has some character you haven't seen before~

There are three yet to be announced characters that appear!!

I'll post more as I finish their designs, some are VERY early.

Brings us to 10 unique characters!

The hair color choices for the generics is still a #WIP as is the #pixelart itself. I literally scratched them all out last night and slapped them in the game.

The Soldier is a bit lacking in difference between M/F. The styles will diverge more as the classes get more advanced~

I recently added this, it's allows me to instantly add main characters to the unit list (described in next post) so that their data remains the same for all scenarios.

I originally loaded all main units for every scenario but that created a slowdown on startup & messy data~

To keep track of progress with sprites, I made some cover art which features single sprites based on the sheets that are done.

Generics have 4, Male, Female, enemy variants...

@trello kept stretching my cover art until I found the golden ratio: 320 x 140 for perfect #pixelart

This is an alternate hair style I've been working on, but I think I gave her hair way too much 'bounce'~

2 female main characters, Seryn Umbral and Emma Slate will be converted to the new format. They're each about half done.

So many firsts~

First time drawing old man (face), first time drawing long beard, first time drawing and animating a robe (it took SO long and is still FAR from done).

Major credit to @cyangmou for the shirt base, @RhlPixels for isometric tutorials and the indie/art community!

This character is my biggest venture into #pixelart & #2danimation.

Outside of using the short sleeve shirt template as a base I was able to draw & animate the rest myself.

Animation still a HUGE WIP~
