Ah, how interesting, Michael & thank you. In that case I think you mean this one: "The Scullery" by Walter Steggles from 1927 which is in the show in Southend until 08/01/22 (Weds-Sun:11am-5pm). It is a great favourite of mine too. https://t.co/4lI68R0Ej0

Good evening Pen & thank you. It sounds as if you've had a lovely day. With a family party there will have been washing up to do, I expect so I hope you'll think that "The Scullery" by Walter Steggles might be appropriate! It is in our exhibition https://t.co/vKTqsdv0zR

Good evening & thank you, very belatedly on my part, I'm afraid. As you say, the policeman with his helmet on in a bar does look odd! Here's another one with a policeman in it: this is "In Custody" by Brynhild Parker: it is in the collection https://t.co/DIqveGud5X

Good evening Primrose & thank you. My apologies, I've only just spotted your Tweet. Here's a watercolour sketch for "Children at Tower Bridge" by Cecil Osborne. I thought that both you & Lara might like to see it. The date is c.1950/55.

My pleasure Tom. I thought that if you'd become used to seeing flat expanses of water.....! This one is a great favourite of mine & quite local to us as we're about twelve miles from Poole. We recently had this sketch of Poole Harbour" by Elwin Hawthorne restored.

Good morning Debby & thank you. As an author & story-teller, I expect your imagination runs wild with a view like that. Here's another image which might do likewise! This is "In Custody" by Brynhild Parker from c.1931/32 which is in the collection https://t.co/t4DDaQzcvk
