Every time I am in my garden, I secretly hope to catch a glimpse of the fairies like in the illustrations of Cicely Mary Barker. There is something enchanted about gardens so I do not doubt that, one day, I may spot one.
In this age of GPS, I still love maps. There is something magical about unfolding them and tracing one's finger along paths of the world and dreaming of destinations in far off lands.

Artist Huang Hai's poster for the Chinese release of My Neighbor Totoro. I love how the field Satsuki & Mei are walking through is actually the fur on Totoro's chest.
I love that Tatsuo Kusakabe's office is cluttered with books stacked everywhere. It makes me feel seen.
Alice in Wonderland (1981) done by Kyiv Animation Studio. It's a surreal, bizarre and dreamlike film.
It's Monday so I am obviously imagining myself in a more magical one in the Fairyland of Richard Doyle.
