Halloween isn’t over yet, folks! There was a time when The Simpsons had to delay their Treehouses to November to make room for football, starting in 2000 with ghosts, fairy tales and dolphins. The first 2 are okay, but Night of the Dolphin is the standout. (1/3)

George Stapler Middle School then gets a rocking new librarian in 2006, DJ meets a bunny in 2007, Phineas and Ferb revive Football X-7 in 2011, and Rainbow Dash gets to live out her deepest fantasy in 2017. Being in a Daring Do adventure, what did you think? (4/4)

SpongeBob throws the rave of the decade in 1999, Plank celebrates Arbor Day in 2006, Zoidberg gets hooked up in 2013, and Phineas and Ferb returned when we needed them most in 2020. Pretty classic lineup here, with the PnF movie meaning a lot to me.

It’s fair to consider this day in 2004 a transitional one for Cartoon Network. Johnny Bravo ends, The Powerpuff Girls airs its last two episodes in production order, and Foster’s begins to explore such creative concepts as ear-piercing scribbles. (1/2)
