On a breezy, treehouse-free day for once, Slappy faces her mortal enemies, critics, in 93, TJ spends his recess in solitary confinement in 97, Timmy gets his eyebrows dyed dark brown in 02 (that’s when you know things are getting really good), while Jack rides a train.

Halloween isn’t over yet, folks! There was a time when The Simpsons had to delay their Treehouses to November to make room for football, starting in 2000 with ghosts, fairy tales and dolphins. The first 2 are okay, but Night of the Dolphin is the standout. (1/3)

Sideshow Bob makes his first attempt on Bart in 1993, Hey Arnold! premieres in 1996, the Total Drama contestants compete on a painful game show in 2007, and Neptune’s Moon passes over Bikini Bottom in 2017. I love this day so much!

Sonic and Tails explore the underground in 1993, the same day the Goodfeathers welcome their first bisexual member. Then T.J. finds $100 in the year 2000, Danny’s future is decided in 2005, and Cosmo and Wanda turn into boobies in 2016. At least they aren’t tits.

It’s fair to consider this day in 2004 a transitional one for Cartoon Network. Johnny Bravo ends, The Powerpuff Girls airs its last two episodes in production order, and Foster’s begins to explore such creative concepts as ear-piercing scribbles. (1/2)

Ash has his first confrontation with Sabrina in 1997, Jack explores a labyrinth in 2003, Wade does the unthinkable and leaves his room in 2005, the same day Lazlo becomes a fortune teller. Another pretty good day here.

Lisa’s friends start growing up too fast in 1998, Eliza idolises a giraffe in 1999, the Scotsman saves Samurai Keanu Reeves in 2003, and Lilo uses a wishing experiment to help David in 2005. Good day here, with Samurai Jack being the highlight for me.

August 22
Ren gets a toothache in 1992: Clay sells rocks in 2003, Camp Dinkey gets an open-ended advertisement in 2007, and Tails tries to hook up with Zoe in 2015. A pretty mixed day, but I’d say Sonic Boom’s the standout.
