Norb and Dag become the first beavers to see the stars in 1997, while Ed Edd ‘n Eddy concludes its episodic run in 2008, with its third of four valid “finales”. Seriously, they were like the Futurama of Cartoon Network for a while there.

Ed gets extremely dedicated to playing a monster in 2002, the same day Ron invents the Naco. Then in 2003, Jack meets a self-proclaimed fellow Samurai, and in 2017, a halfway decent episode of Season 10 FOP! Literally anything could happen today!

Getting Summer off to a strong start, thr Beavers go to the beach in 1997, and the Thornberrys travel to New Zealand in 2002. It was a great day for SpongeBob too, with him and Patrick selling chocolate bars and Barnacle Boy deflecting to the dark side. (1/2)

The Girls meet, well, create Bunny in 2000, Jimmy and Cindy get stuck on a deserted island in 2005, and Dan gets trapped in a reality TV show in 2012. Another pretty classic day, I think.

Here we go, this is a big one. In 93 Doug met the Sleach Brothers and Ren & Stimpy became mounties, in what was essentially the finale of the Spumco era. Then in 03 Dexter’s mother got invested in his chess tournament (kind of adorable), and Timmy joined the circus. (1/2)

Vin Moosk fights against the ties that bind in 2005, but there must’ve been a full moon over Nickelodeon, with Good Neighbours and The Great Divide premiering the same night. Then in 2017, Samurai Jack reaches its poignant, albeit anticlimactic, conclusion. KND wins hard.

May 14
This was a pretty packed day on the adult side of animation. Springfield invaded Shelbyville in 1995, Mother’s Day went haywire in 2000, the most heated debate ever had commenced in 2006, and Elise’s parents showed their dark side in 2011. Simpsons absolutely won though.

May 12
Rolf bears the burden of hospitality in 2000, SpongeBob and friends visit a new world in 2001, Remy Buxaplenty gets Juandisimo back in 2005, and Sandy kinda becomes the Queen of Karate in 2006. Can’t fault a day that delivered multiple good SpongeBob episodes.

May 11
Dexter meets Mandark in 1996, Arnold and Helga have a shared dream of being a married couple in 2002, the cul de sac gets abducted by aliens in 2007, and Phineas and Ferb celebrate S’Fall in 2012. I’d describe this as a day of excitement and newfound opportunities.
