Īl's Character Design ("TOBAL No. 1", 1996/08/02)

Boasting an intimidating 201 centimeter pink physique, imposing as if he were built Like a Dragon, his most unexpected hobby is that he enjoys reading?! He's entering Tobal to earn money for a ring to propose to his girlfriend~

Toriyama's illustration for Koyama's JVC-produced "Polka Dot Magic" LP (1984/03/05) — It's the titular "Helicopter"!

As previous recorded, Toriyama was coerced by Koyama into writing lyrics for two of her tracks alongside retro, cutesy complementary designs.

Cover Illustration of Dragon Ball's 15th volume (1988/12/06)

Toriyama flexes with his clever characteristic of line gradations between lines in this piece. That aside, I wonder if Goku woke up in that Bugatti?

Cover Illustration for volume 6 of Dragon Ball's "Kanzenban" release (2003/02/04) — Featuring the life changing clash between Son Goku & Tao Pai Pai!

This is an interesting illustration that impresses with its immaculate detail in texture for the pillar he rides.

Toriyama's Monster Design of Golem for "Dragon Quest" (1986/05/27)

Toriyama's masterful use of perspective makes it appear much more imposing than it would alone. Additionally, this popular giant comes in many different variants like golden & ice! My favorite's the chocolate one.

Toriyama's cover for WSJ No. 42 (1985/09/17)

While the cover illustration portrays Namu vs Son Goku, the 42nd chapter of Dragon Ball contained within actually featured Kuririn vs Jackie Chun. If anything, you could view it as the match to look forward to in the future.

Toriyama's Package Illustration for the updated GB editions of Dragon Quest 1 & 2 (1999/09/23) — It's its 21st anniversary

The approach taken was akin to a fantasy picture book, giving it a saccharine mood. In particular, the SD'd DQ2 trio really pop out w/ digital colorization.

Whatever it is you think she should have done, I enjoyed the distinction between Serenity and Cosmos in that the latter completely respected her decision enough to look forward to the altering of her own destiny when they'll eventually become one another.

Toriyama's Turtle Hermit illustration for the 18th Anniversary Jump Grand Ultra Quiz in WSJ No. 31 (1986/07/01)

It's super valuable, something you'll only find in this print! Even our problematic favorite is excited to be posing for the occasion as you absorb so much trivia.
