Been enjoying higher res character pixel art lately so thought I'd try that out. Remembered that I hate doing any sort of line art. This is however a good example of why I normally stick to tiny pixel figures!

Quick little Usalia making some curry. She was my favorite character in Disgaea 5, fun design and super useful abilities.

I am disappointed Disgaea 6 won't have pixel art sprites though, I loved their style.

I also did some experimenting with drawing a higher resolution which I had to resort to doing a quick drawing elsewhere to get even close to correct. Didn't really finish it with any sort of polish though.

I was trying to get the feel of sitting out side at a camp fire, but I'm not used to working at this resolution yet so didn't quite get to a lot of the 'cozy' elements I wanted. I'm slow at drawing.

If you aren't familiar with the story of Goldielocks, its about a young girl who breaks into a bear family's house, eats their food, breaks their furniture, and sleeps in their beds.

I realized a bit too late that a Penrose triangle and a Möbius strip are different things, but oh well. Also water is still very hard to get right.
