After trying to use the robot computer to kill Thorn, Thorn finds her and just beats her up like's she the Scorpion against Spider-man. She goes down in one page rather brutally.
and she doesn't fight Lois, instead Lois ran another strip called Rose and Thorn the gist being "I have multiple personality order and I HAVE TO FIGHT CRIME" I mean good on them for picking kind of a good theme character to go against.
*Ignoring EGG FU ADD......
Ivy is defeated and so begins Ivy's history more or less while she is not yet a main A-list rogue she would grow and keep appearing every so often compared to others.
Now this story would set her character in motion for....30 years you see her true motivation in this story was to be THE BEST CRIMINAL EVER...but she finds her true goal and true love.....
She was created for Batman 181 as a new gimmick villain of the month, a take on Catwoman this version didn't have real plant based powers but was more a theme of pretty but deadly.
and welcome to the lie Poison Ivy fans swear by, Posion Ivy in her history has mostly a NON ENVIRONMENT focused thief with plant theme often seeking to exploit people for power and money. She's honestly more closer to Catwoman then she ever was Swamp Thing.
This is one where I would recommend…the first couple issued because this one does jump the shark hard despite trying to be Diana’s DKR
