Ivy would be this going forward, a monstrous plant lady but not a protect the earth type of thing, she wants to control people and have her way with them for power still.

It takes her orginal origin and reveals that parts of it were a lie, and that she STUDIED under Jason Woodrue the Foloronic man. This change ties her to the Swamp Thing mythos but that doesn't get played up and much and I will explain why later.

This is post crisis so many characters would get revisions to their history especially Batman characters(look up who Barbara's gordon parents are and get cross eyed) Ivy got a new origin by Neil in Secret Origin 36

The comic also introduces one of her MOST major signatures a plant monster created by her, Redwood here is but the first in a long line of mooks who Ivy sends out to die for her.

Ivy is trying to assassinate some diplomats BECAUSE....she wants to be the greatest criminal of all time. So you know that whole care about Earth thing.....prepare NOT TO SEE A LOT OF THAT THIS THREAD.
