I do have a unyielding love of Rodimus. Primal as well. He was the first Optimus I had all the toys from. https://t.co/5SVHtAOUlT

The golem I THINK is a possible connection, and is a good culture thing to note, but I don't think Superman has connection to it beyond being a protector, and the Golem had little to do with inspiring Superman, but...I do think there were culture aspects at the time that did.

Anyway Superman also went through multiple versions before we got the version we know and love, keep in mind the original one was intended to be an evil psychic and also the creators themselves cite John Carter of Mars as well.

and then Star's and Stripe for Courtney's story, but I would seek out the JSA all star series and JSA series to see he develop into Stargirl. If you want to see her become Stargirl read JSA All stars. It's a mini that was great.

and that was that for the legacy, till Courtney Whitmore discovered her new step dad was Stripsy and taking the cosmic converter belt became the new Star Spangled Kid. For a while she was not known as Stargirl but that would change.

You see the character Sylvester the original star spangled did NOT originally have a connection to Starman and they were JUST different superheroes but various teams up over the decades would connect them. He was later given his own COSMICALLY power device the Cosmic belt.

The fifth Starman Will Peyton, a hero made in the classic Spider-man template, this one had a run in the 80-90's and for a small time frame had the only ongoing series of any of the Starmen, but was KILLED in a crossover....but this was also not HIS end.

Next is Prince Gavyn, a prince from an alien world this Starman fought to regain his throne, but alas after a couple years of stories alas he died in Crisis on infinite earths, still this would not be his true end...but that is a tale for another day.

Actually since 1942, this Marx Brother movie was intended as a parody of it, but became a general spoof of the genre. Not to mention these....

People who try to deconstruct superheroes in this day and age. I'm going to be honest practically every angle has been done in some form and right now superheroes dealing with EMOTIONS or real world problem are a dime a dozen, you have to work harder.
