#alltomorrows I noticed time ago that the eyes of the Second Empire era Asteromorph looked quite similar to the ones of the Geckos so that may have the implications they had to deal with dark environments and probably would expand their pupils greatly almost adopting a Grey look
It was truly a behemoth, with 40 m in length and able to build some basic structures was some of the largest intelligent beings show in the book, so large that I could have grabbed the bigger animals like puppies, sample animals:
Barosaurus
Argentinosaurus
Blue whale
New "Walking with" Entry, this time introducing the great "Gorgonopsid" probably one of the first appearances of this animal in a doc, even though the details of anatomy and proportions didn't age well is still one of the most outstanding predators presented in WWM
Late on #SynapsidWeek but eh.
Dimetrodon was through the Early Permian one of the most successful genus of synapsid pelycosaurs lasting almost 20 m.y., upon this there has always been a different species in each point being in most cases the apex predator until the end.
Size comparison of the Morrison predators showing the outstanding beast Saurophaganax and Torvosaurus were alongside a human, and a god.
Have a Pteranodon longiceps male portrait displaying its vibrant reddish yellowish crest.
Have realize recently that the WWD Dunkleosteus had sclera and now it looks more creepy/funny than before.
I feel like if I ending up making the monsterverse the result would be full of bizarre things...
Another of my WWD entry is for the giant Ordovician Cone, the Orthocone, is amazing that this depiction still holds up well compared to other docs as this has the most accurate features speculated including 10 arms, adhesive ridges and simple eyes. Is not perfect but still good.
