Term 2 final project: superhero/secret agent set designs. The Mad Ratter set by Raeann Chou. Bonnie's Salon set by Nathali Aubrey. Our students sure have active imaginations 😂
Another term comes to an end at FZD. I'm so proud of our hard working and dedicated students. There's literally hundreds of awesome designs to share so I'll start with Term 2 finals. Goal is to design a superhero's main room and their secret lair. First set by Simons and Nantanut
The "rescue vehicle" assignment is one of the final projects for our term 1 students. It's great to see how far they've come in the past 14 weeks - good page compositions, form balance, functionality, call to details, graphic design, etc. Mobile Vet vehicle by Wong Yun Teng.
A nice set of designs by FZD term 3 student, Ruoyun Li. I'm a sucker for classic cars and period pieces. Great details in that piano.
A few more examples. These might not be the most exciting things to look at, but the design fundamentals students learn from them will come in handy as they advance into higher terms. Give it a try. Not as easy as it looks.
This is the exosuit assignment from our current term 2 students. They have to design a non-military (no guns) exosuit with a clear job role. This exercise teaches students on how to balance entertainment value vs. perceived functionality.
Two more sets of "The Long Voyage" project by FZD students, Simons Saha and Nathali Aubrey. Upon closer look, the Pipe Piper wagon interior is pretty creepy! The little mouse has its own bed and cheese too.
More "The Long Voyage" designs by our term 2 students. This set by Raeann Chou. Love all the story telling details.
Here's one of my favorite sets from back in the days. Designs by MaQi Yin. The war of 1850 between the felines and the canines.
This is a term 2 assignment called the "Boss Gate." A fun exercise which requires students to visually connect the boss design to the architecture styling of the gate.
