More class notes. A fun way to learn about lighting is by treating your scene like a miniature set. Entertainment lighting is rarely "realistic." Instead, multiple lights are used to achieve desired moods. Use b/w flatly lit stock photos and relight them via stage lights.

Sharing some of my favorite student work from the past 11 years of FZD. This set of visdev designs by Yoga Satyadana is about secret creatures living in the forest while their environment is threatened by loggers. Beautiful linework.
