Okay I’m going to be honest with you all. Princess Lauren is a self-insert.

But I feel like there has to be some sort of self-insert when an #autistic person is creating an #autistic character.

Also princess Lauren’s looks and the diagnosis’s are the only similarities to me.

11. Princess Lauren was highly researched to be as non stereotypical as possible. The books were also made to be free to accommodate #ActuallyAutistic people since many struggle financially due to discrimination in the work force.

10. Princess Lauren originally had a bow on her sweater but was switched to buttons after finding the bow was two difficult to animate. Plus Maggie R’s skills improved a ton since the bow was in Lauren’s character design.

Like I said I’m currently working on the Clean Up stage. That includes the following:

Adding more details (such as the buttons on her sweater.)

Removing the shapes that are a guide to her anatomy (Such as Circles and Cylinders.)

And removing and cleaning up all the lines.

This is how I also memorized by heart the We’re All In This Together Dance as we would always end on that number at the end of every recital.

Also their outfits were made to be easy to animate. For an example instead of buttons on Lauren’s dress she was originally going to have a bow on her dress. But I found the bow too hard to animate so I switched it with buttons.
