That said, the greater amount of Wario Land acknowledgement and influence on how Wario is portrayed, do paint a optimistic picture for Wario going forward in general.

Wario's Shoulder Charge is getting a lot of very prominent use in modern games and I'm so glad to see that.

Especially happy to see that after the Wii U era and how some defended Smash 4 removing it, as if it wasn't a important part of him. Even Smash itself brought it back.

Densetsu no Stafy 3 has my favorite sprite for Wario's Shoulder Charge ever.

Just look at how beefy he is.

Mario Party e has only a small handful of minigames, but those gave us:

- Wario Land 4 map style spirtes for Mario and Waluigi.

- A Puffy Wario balloon

- Wario in his car in a minigame, he even drives in a desert like in the Wario Land 4 intro.

While it is possibly a coincidence, I totally see the Bubble Capsule from Mario Party 5 as being based on Flaming Wario.

The entire concept of the characters intentionally burning themselves for some kind of benefit is so Wario Land in nature.

WarioWare Gold's boss remake for the microgame Loot Scoot did something really interesting by giving Wario a jumping upwards variant of the Shoulder Charge, a completely new take on the move.

Wario has a lot of experience with getting sucked into worlds in a spiral fashion.

Didn't realize it until recently, but ever since Land 4 this really became the style of level entry animations for the Wario platfomers, aside from MoD, which still has it in the opening though.

Tiny Wario making it into WarioWare is great not just for the Wario Land representation, but I also love it because it supports the idea that Wario's alternate forms in Ware are an extension of his Land transformation abilities.
