Since Bender's Big Score is in widescreen, the flashback scenes of when the show was full screen had to be reanimated in Korea based on the original storyboards. That's why it looks so seamless.
The idea of "paradox free" time travel might sound ingenious, but it's actually kind of lazy with how extensively it's used in #bendersbigscore. It makes for too many instances where the audience has to suspend their disbelief. Not a fact, just an opinion.
Time traveling was avoided in the original series but the staff obviously went all out in #bendersbigscore and admit that it was tough to write because the story got so complicated. I would say *too* complicated. The movie is lacking some elegance because of all the time travel.
