Long Haul is a dump truck with a robot head sitting next to the driver's cab. This was especially awkward in the cartoon, when his "vehicle mode head" would disappear when he transformed, and his "robot mode head" would come from... somewhere else.
This Kraken took the longest to design. We must have easily done a few hundred concepts, but in the end it was well worth it. I’m very happy with what the character looked like in the film.
