People aim to hate dither to try put down some game systems in comparisons/discussions, but, it is a very smart tool to blend shades and create smart textures. Strong machines that's handle tons of colors on the screen use it too.. it's an artist tool, a good example:

A few years ago I made a proposal to Tryphon for an extra stage for MD's Shinobi.

This was the first BG that I drew from scratch, just the trees in the background that I used real photos and adapted to get into the game.

Noob process for pixel-art:
-Sketch on paper 5 minutes
- Turning it into reality takes weeks.

I would like to do better, I'm still not sure about the colors but with parallax, I think it will be very cool.

you have to had contrast, make it lighter dosent help much, i add one extra shade on the axe to make a smooth transition to the dark tone and it looks better for me

After the amazing video from people keeps asking to me why i didn't put Gilius Axe golden. I explained why, but today i tried to mix it with the skin shades to try mimic it a bit, for me its sucks but maybe im to freak for this, what you think?
