Hello everyone, as part of my website newsletter, I provide new subscribers a free print-quality digital piece of artwork. Today I updated that artwork with this watercolor drawing, inspired by the Year of The Ox. You can find it here: https://t.co/8jaz61TRcg

This month's Patreon dragon theme prompted me to look back at previous dragon sightings. Several years ago, I spotted these off the coast of Whidbey Island. Maybe they were once fish fighting up the waves at the three-tiered dragon gate?

I'm enjoying my time with Hyakki Yagyō tremendously, and it's prompting me to look back at other yokai inspired Inktober adventures. The Merchant of Tajime, was written by and drawn over Inktober 2016. You can read the complete story here:

Hello all, here is a digital mock-up of the block print I am working on completing by the end of the month for Patreon. My inspiration is based on the entrance of Sogenji, a Zen temple in Okayama, Japan. It sits alongside an aqueduct that fills with lotus leaves in the spring.

I'm feeling better about the seven-month pause on Narrow: Hunt. I see very fun little adjustments being made, that I know would not have happened if I had been moving faster. made this page a whole lot better with the centipede banner recommendation.

I took a fun sketching side road this afternoon, to create some spot art for an upcoming work presentation, with a The Good, the Bad and the Ugly theme.
