I've loved Inktober and time revisiting Kitsu and Ibo along the Narrow Road. But I've been itching to get back to some other explorations, so this morning I took advantage of the early wake-up call established over Inktober to make some progress on a small print of Monju Bosatsu.

Monastery days begin early, and the head monk doesn't sugarcoat the long hours of meditation, which lay ahead on Kitsu's first day in the Zendo or meditation hall. @ZackDavisson #zen #yokai #comics #makingcomics

Opening up Narrow Road: Monastery, we find that it's broken up into two tales, starting first with "Things As They" and a traveling monk requesting entrance to Jufuku-ji. @ZackDavisson #zen #yokai #comics #makingcomics
A joy of October's focus on Hunt was seeing @ZackDavisson stitching together story seeds from our previous work. All of our stories contain some of those seeds, but Monastery has several that I think you'd recognize from Hunt. Over the next month I’d like to share Monastery.
A moment of solitude and shelter from the storm on page 21 of Narrow Road: Hunt, a page-a-day comic for #Inktober2019. If you'd like to catch up on the adventure, I've updated all the pages up to today on my website at https://t.co/QAewcVo2SO @ZackDavisson #inktober
Over Inktober I'm working on completing a page-a-day of a Narrow Road comic with the writer, good friend, and collaborator, @ZackDavisson. If you'd like to catch up on the story so far, I'm doing a weekly update on my website. https://t.co/QAewcV6s1g

@ZackDavisson has written many wonderful Ibo moments for me to depict, but working on this rough draft for an Ibo and Princess Takiyasha love and loss montage might be my favorite.
Hello all, I've added the first batch block printed Tanuki shirts to the shop. This set is my first use of the Anvil brand tee. Also included a few ladies sizes with a small, medium and large, along with men's 2XL and 3XL. https://t.co/2SUeMKRr0r
