Okay, I've been curious about this for the past few days.

What do you guys think about the PS1 Goemon games?

During development of the game, Impact's control interface was modeled after his face. However, it turned out to be counter-intuitive.

Sasuke is from Iga. Iga is a city located in the Mie Prefecture of the Kansai Region. It was one of the centers for ninjutsu during the Sengoku period, and later is known for being the origin of the Iga-ryu, a well-known ninja tradition.

Ebisumaru is from Osaka. It's a city located in the Kansai region of Japan. He speaks with a Kansai dialect, so the honoric suffix -san is sometimes pronounced as -han (i.e. "Goemon-han" instead of "Goemon-san").

Goemon is the only member of the team that's from Oedo while the other 3 originated from other parts of Japan. I'll explain in the thread below where Ebisumaru, Sasuke, and Yae are from.

Even though Miss Impact is modeled after Omitsu, the latter has expressed her dislike for the design (calling it hideous and saying it "looks nothing like her)and even fainted upon meeting Miss Impact for the first time.

The cover art for Ganbare Goemon: Karakuri Dochu is a combination of "Fine Wind, Clear Morning" and "The Great Wave off Kanagawa"; two popular woodblock prints by Hokusai.

Goemon Bomber first appeared in the now defunct mobile game "Taisen! Bomberman" in March 2016. He would later return in Super Bomberman R as DLC, but his appearance is changed.

The Mechanical Walkers from Ganbare Goemon 3 act rather similar to the Ride Armor from the Mega Man X series. Both can walk, dash, and jump, but cannot climb. However, the Mechanical Walkers got upgrades that allowed them to use fire and liquid nitrogen.
