Farewell Mr Movies
As a kid in the early 80s I used to watch classic Hollywood films on Channel 10 with my parents, presented by Bill Collins. I wrote to him on behalf of my family to ask about upcoming screenings. He always replied. He was a big part of my childhood.
R.I.P. 😢

Stopped off at Bests Winery on the way home. As well as sampling some lovely reds, I got to go underground and explore the cellars. Very cool? 🍷

Brief stop in Ballarat on the way to Horsham, to stretch my legs and have some lunch. The mall has this amazing display of umbrellas that you walk under.

Such a lovely book! Came across it in my local library. Love Sandy’s writing, but hadn’t realised she’d written this. What an oversight. Must get a copy. Such a wonderfully uplifting story with beautifying illos.

Don’t you just love getting a book ahead of everyone else? Because @michaeljpryor was speaking at @willylitfest , their bookshop had copies of GRAVEYARD SHIFT IN GHOST TOWN even though it’s not officially released until July. So cool!

Fri is always worth celebrating. But tonight I was also celebrating 5 new potential projects. No contracts yet. Nothing set in concrete. In fact, it’s unlikely they’ll all come to fruition. They are just possibilities. But I love possibilities. And all 5 have me very excited. 😄
