Finished season 1 of ATTACK ON TITAN. So long as you can suspend disbelief regarding the aerodynamic impossibility of the military gear, it’s pretty cool! Exciting, stylish, brutal and intriguing series. Will go on to season 2 soon.
I’ve seen Les Misérables on stage 3 times... including the original Melb production with Philip Quast as Javert. Loved them all. Also adore this film version. While Quast remains my fav Javert, I do actually like Russell Crowe in the role. In fact, the whole cast is AWESOME!
Bit of a Marvel super hero theme at Melbourne Grammar Grimwade House today for #BookWeek . I was there to run writing workshops with the Grade 5 kids. Thanos made into several of the stories that the kids planned out. 😀

The weekend after #BookWeek is always good, as I get to consume the Book Week gifts. 😄

This was a first for me. I had three keen students from Kingswood Primary School ask me to sign their new pencils. Never had that before. Not much room... hence the small wonky signatures. 😬

Being the parent of a teen means...
Family outing to Monash Open Day. 😀 Clayton campus has changed so much since 1990-92. The National Centre for Australian Studies, where I did my MA, is now cafe. 🤣 But my fav place is still there. I spent many lunchtimes sitting by this lake.
Iconic underground car park at Melb Uni. Australia’s 1st underground car park (1972), it has appeared on screen many times, including in MAD MAX. I’ve used it in my LETHBRIDGE-STEWART story “Pure History” which will be published later this year in THE HAVOC FILES. @LScandyjar
Went to the launch of the Arts Alumni Careers Mentoring program for 2019 at the University of Melbourne. Held in the Research Lounge of the Arts West building. Wow! What an amazing facility. It opened in 2017. It is beautiful. And the wallpaper in the Research Lounge is gorgeous.
