Never read the book. Liked the series. 1st 4 eps are gold. Unfortunately, ep 5 loses momentum big time, and the final ep never quite recovers. The climax is good but not great. But the overall conclusion is fab. Tennant and Sheen are brilliant and work so well together.

30th anniversary rewatch of Weird Al’s film, UHF. So many classic moments. Teaching poodles to fly. Drinking from the fire hose. Wheel of Fish! Conan the Librarian. “We don’t need no stinking badgers.” And of course... Spatula City! Weird Al really needs to make another film.

Flu jab today... so, lunch out as a reward.
