60 years ago mum worked in city as a dress maker. She’d buy coffee at Quists, opp George’s Dept Store. Years later I worked in the city and would get my coffee there. Today I went there to buy a HUGE bag of coffee beans for Mum... and some for me. So pleased they’re still there.

I had lunch at Melb Uni today, sitting out in the Union quad, listening to a live band. Nostalgic memories of my undergrad days came flooding back. So cool! I have no idea who the band was... but they were quite good.

Finished the 1st season of AMERICAN GODS. Stylish opening titles and I love Gillian Anderson (esp the Bowie scene). But beyond that it's all a bit... meh! It has some good moments but it's just so ponderous. Not sure I'll bother with season 2. GOOD OMENS was waaaaaaaay better.
