Wachenroeder (1998, #Sega for #SegaSaturn). Wonderfully polished and stylized steampunk Strategy-RPG. If you loved Shining Force 3, you'll love this. An English language translation is so badly needed it isn't even funny. C'mon, you're all stuck at home now! Get to it!

Imouto He (1983): Here are illustrations from a short picture book created by Hayao #Miyazaki. It tells the story of a boy who cares for his paralyzed sister & dreams of taking her on adventures in his airplane. The plane looks similar to one seen in The Wind Rises, eh?

Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind (1984, Hayao #Miyazaki). Here are some cool shots from the Nausicaa Blu-Ray. Terrific movie, very smart and packed full with brilliance. It may still be my favorite Miyazaki film, certainly his most important.

Here are some screenshots from episode 1 of Heidi, Girl of the Alps that were later riffed in Studio #Ghibli movies. Whoever can cite the references gets a free cookie.

Illustrations and character sketches by Hayao #Miiyazaki that were published in his book Image Boards. Notice the flying machines that were later used in Castle in the Sky and also the cameos by Lupin, Jigen & Clarisse.
