"Paladin Break 1," episode 5 of #PlanetWith, features a bunch of neat animation flourishes, including a grain filter, letterboxing, and a postcard memory. Seriously, this is such a good looking show! Do yourself a favor and check it out if you haven't!
Greetings from the Alpha 1 Solar System! Come join @whydoisay (Alcedes), @pmcTRILOGY (Triton), and @_stephen_hero (Panthera) on their quest to uncover the origins of this unique SNES side-scroller. We pull out all the stops for our third Simulator ep! Became a patron to listen!
This dynamic isn’t atypical. For example, the same thing happened during the production of #CodeGeass. Even though CLAMP designed Lelouch and Co, the team wasn't in the trenches, working on a day-to-day level with the animators at Sunrise. The same applies with #PlanetWith.
Coincidentally, J.C.Staff, the studio responsible for #PlanetWith, animated a bunch of Slayers films and shows, including The Motion Picture (1995), Gorgeous (1998), Revolution (2008), and Evolution-R (2009). We have any Slayers fans out there?
Satoshi Mizukami (@nekogaeru) was born in 1980. Unsurprisingly, he was an avid reader of manga from a young age. Like many boys growing up in the ‘80s he read a LOT of Shonen Jump. He cites Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya, which are still popular today, as personal favorites.
New interview episode! @pmcTRILOGY spoke with @LukeRyanHerbert the host of @mech_jam about his background with games and mecha as well as the recently concluded #MechJam III which had 600+ registrants!
Go follow the MechJam twitter account to stay up-to-date on future jams!
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of #ArmoredCore, we released our inaugural Simulator ep, covering the production of the first game! We discuss the origins of @fromsoftware_pr and all talent who helped birth this franchise into being! Happy birthday, Armored Core!
