Anyone else feeling some wild mood swings this week? Sometimes you just gotta lay down and let them wash over you. This drawing of @JoelSomeone1 from last Sunday’s virtual drawing session with @doableguys begins to capture the mood.

My newest painting “But the View…” inspired by the sense of loneliness and confinement we’re all dealing with in our own ways, while recognizing the relative comforts many of us are able enjoy while we wait out a slow-motion disaster unlike anything we’ve ever experienced.

I did a fun warmup portrait of @TheMantalope who generously provided some references for me to work with.
