After a few years of drawing models, I finally took the plunge and modeled via zoom for another artist I really admire: J Carino. He’s not on twitter, but his work is spectacular. He made my first experience incredibly comfortable and memorable.

My newest painting “But the View…” inspired by the sense of loneliness and confinement we’re all dealing with in our own ways, while recognizing the relative comforts many of us are able enjoy while we wait out a slow-motion disaster unlike anything we’ve ever experienced.
