Piccolo "dying" is among one of the most annoying recurring plot points in Dragon Ball.

After asking around on the DB Sakuga server, most people seem to believe this guy is a combination of Giorno Giovanna and Bruno Bucciarati from Jojo Part 5.

The first Dragon Ball Z Budokai has only two immediate anime references, those being Sanji and Luffy from One Piece. Sanji is recognizable from his signature yellow hair, cigarette and blue undershirt.

Luffy on the otherhand has his hat but his shirt is blue.

@FatedOmen @MozillaVulpix 'Narratively better' is pretty valueless in a series focused on fighting when the climactic fight ends up being boring. Narrative should improve the fight, not hinder it.

And they make it easy to show when Hit is moving in timeskip. Lots of other manga also manage this (ie JoJo)
