Magneto uses his powers to capture a ship at sea carrying a computer that he needs, not realizing it also hiding in it are the X-Men in “The Torch Is Passed…!” Script Roy Thomas, Penciler George Tuska, Inker John Tartaglione: A good story - passable art. 3/5

Thor continues his fight against the Destroyer in "To Rise Again!" Script Stan Lee, Plot-Penciler Jack Kirby, Inker Vince Colletta: Despite some seemingly extraneous plot details, a solid trifecta of events, that I assume will lead to an exciting climax. 4/5

The Olympian Typhon attacks an unwary Earth and a depleted Avengers must stop him in "To Tame a Titan!" Script Roy Thomas, Penciler-Inker John Buscema: Thomas’ judiciously wraps up Hercules’ involvement in Avengers, still giving Buscema pages to shine. 4/5
