The Ringmaster uses his hypnotic powers to force the Thunder God into helping his Circus of Crime steal a priceless gold statue of a bull in "-- If the Thunder Be Gone!" Script Stan Lee, Plot-Penciler Jack Kirby, Inker Vince Colletta: A bit far-fetched. 3.5/5

Avengers (2018) #42
The Avengers battle for the Phoenix Force, while also attempting to find a way to contain it. Writer Jason Aaron, Artist Luca Maresca, Colorist David Curiel: Many major fights, some minor exposition, but ultimately uneventful. I love Maresca-Curiel’s art. 3/5

The Legend of Shang-Chi (2021) #1
Shang-Chi fights Lady Deathstrike for the stolen Equinox Blade. Writer Alyssa Wong, Artist Andie Tong, Colorist Rachelle Rosenberg: A wonderful one-shot, capturing the feel of the original run, while maintaining the continuity of the new. 4/5
