MGO三のコンセプトアートの中で実現しなかったアイデアに拠点で武器の交換が可能なウェポンクローゼットという設定画があったのですが、一番最初に公開されたMGO三のトレーラーでこのウェポンクローゼットが映っていたのを初めて知りました。

モデリングまでされていたのに実現しなかったのが残念です

ウスダヒロさん(@hirousuda)はMGS3の背景アーティストで参加されていたのですが、担当されていたグラーニニ・ゴルキー研究所B1西部のロッカーに貼られていた"男装騎士"のポスターの原画が、ウスダさん自身のPixivに投稿されていたのを今年初めて知りました。

@FooooSEN ありがとうございます。自分はMGSV:TPPのカズの黒いベレー帽から来ているのかなと思ったんですが、FOXHOUNDの前身のFOXのジーンから着想を得ていたんですね。確かにFOXHOUND時代のBIGBOSSのベレー帽はPWの小説のラストでも色が分からなかったので黒は良い案だと思います。

@BadHumans Thank you. Early on in Meryl's sketch she appears to be a muscular woman.
Especially in the wedding dress that Uchiyama drew, you can see that she has magnificent arms and shoulders.
I wonder if Hiro Usuda changed her body to be a little slimmer?

MGS4のメリルはいかにも軍人な筋肉質の顔つきなんですが、E3 2006のメリルはとても可愛らしい顔なんですよね。

ゲームキューブ版MGSTTSのメリルがそのまま成長したらというイメージにピッタリ合います。

It's interesting that Mr. Saito of Platinum Games explains the similarities between Raiden and Solidus.

@MetalGearDmodel @mcghee_nick I'm just guessing, but I think they decided to make the MGS4 boss (B&B unit) a "monster" consisting of a power suit, and when they decided to make the monster look like an animal, they chose Wolf, Raven and other members of FOXHOUND, so they named it the same.

@LordEmmerich @totallynottrane @FooooSEN Thank you. The setting where Campbell enlisted in FOXHOUND via Delta Force seems to have come from MGS1 (1998), and in MG2 (1990) he enlisted in FOXHOUND directly from Green Beret.
