Some close ups. I’m honestly surprised, I almost never draw humans and the poses just… came out. I really missed (allowing myself to be) feeling inspired like that. Trying to imagine how the cloth would fall is really fun too!

Here are the others… a huge source of inspiration since the moment I started to take drawing seriously as a teen. I can’t dream to be as good but it does show. I’d love a better scan but my copy has a terrible misaligned print.. need to get another sometime

Forced to take a break due to a mild fever but I DID get to doodle a bit just now! I tried drawing a horse from memory which I’ve seen others do (not fair because I draw way more horses than people), as well as Tío Bruno- I’m a bit concerned about how well I have him memorised 😅

Hope you’re all having a good end of the year! Here’s a holiday card for MTVC (Marten Toonder Collectors Club), celebrating the 80th birthday of Tom Poes and Ollie B. Bommel, and the 75th of Panda and Kappie.

That ballpoint pen drawing is from 2003 and the movie from 2005. Not sure when they released the first trailers but I was HYPED when they announced it, it was before I was on any online art sites…
Nowadays she just looks like Mickey Mouse Marsupilami haha https://t.co/95uxWVShQp

QRT with your most popular art!

…any time I draw something video game related.
I drew this when I just started playing AC for the first time and Isabelle hadn’t even arrived yet. https://t.co/3qi2aZYUlU

I was just blabbing elsewhere yesterday about how much I love the Dutch coloring of the Seven Cities of Gold and how it REALLY improves the impact of that big splash panel. However, the art has been altered to make up for a missing panel (which probably was missing at the time)

Going panel by panel actually makes it much easier to read without getting lost and skipping over stuff. I also love seeing the panels and artwork at a giant size. I can imagine it makes the comics easier to read for lots of kids and it’s how many webcomics work. (art by Barks)
