Good morning - I hope the night passed without alarms or excursions. I'm starting the day with a pair from Frank Brangwyn. Left, 'Fishermen at Funchal, Maderia, Portugal', 1891, and 'Industry', a study for the panels for the Queen Mary, prior to 1931. Both oil on board.

I had my own #SussexDay yesterday, not knowing there was such a thing. It's today apparently and a fine excuse for this quartet from Ravilious. Top left to bottom left 'Chalk Paths', 'Cuckmere Haven' , 'The Long Man' watercolour, 1939 & same 1929, wood engraving print on paper.

Just watched a red kite cruising over Wells. I've seen dozens above Dyfed and plenty along the M4, but this is only the 2nd I've seen in Someret. A good day.
