'August: Harvesting', Clare Leighton, print from woodcut, 1933.
To mark the date of his passing, here are three of my favourite Paul Nash images. Left: 'Wood on the Downs', 1922, top right: 'Wittenham Clumps', 1912, and 'Rye Marshes', 1923.
'Abel's Walk' & 'Road to Darnell', Jo March (@jo_ida).
Those of you asking after prints of Jo's work will be pleased to hear they are now available (at very reasonable prices) from her website - https://t.co/sxApwvH3ul

Tonight's goodnight images are of Donati's Comet. After the Great Comet of 1811, it was the most brilliant comet that appeared in the 19th century. It was also the first comet to be photographed. Credits in comments.
Sleep tight.
'Sinbad Fights the Skeleton', Ray Harryhausen, charcoal & pencil on illustration board, 1957.

Good morning - I hope the night passed without alarms or excursions. I'm starting the day with a pair from Frank Brangwyn. Left, 'Fishermen at Funchal, Maderia, Portugal', 1891, and 'Industry', a study for the panels for the Queen Mary, prior to 1931. Both oil on board.
'Cottage by the Sea', Jo March, acrylic on canvas.
I'd very much like one of those, please and thank you.
