Got some simple grip strength training equipment today. I've been thinking about picking up the cello again. I haven't played seriously since high school so my bow holding arm has become noodles.

Gold is the most fun character of the bunch. From her overall design to her origin which greatly mirrors Pink's first ever appearance. Since then her design wasn't changed very much since then, especially when compared to Teal's changes.

Finally, my first OC Teal is getting her turnaround and her 3D model. Compared to Pink she's thinner, has smaller muscles, and is a little shorter.
Being real, this is my new favorite character design, and yes, the shoes will be done later on, I suck at designing shoes. Shoe me.

I'm giving Teal another design pass as I prepare to model her in the coming weeks, but I can't get a handle on what colors to go with. For now she's Teal and Brown, but I'm not sold on it yet.

The SFM version of Pink is pretty much done. I do want to go all in on a Blender only version of her with proper face rigging and everything. It's hard to beat Blender's visual fidelity. 👍

After weeks and weeks of procrastinating I've finally gotten around to making the stretch and compress maps. This is pretty much the extent of the compress map. Mainly for angry eyes and eyebrows. The stretch map will make laugh lines more visible when smiling.

All the sculpting is finally, once again, done. There's still a moderate amount of coloring needed to call it good, but it's simple enough stuff. She's looking really great now! All with her hoodie and everything!

Pink's shoes are actually being made. Unlike the last shoes there's actual detail going on with both the texture and modified the mesh a little bit.
Also the previous shoe design for the heck of it.

Pink's main head texture is nearly done. She's a heck of a lot paler than the last time around, this puts her much closer to her original designs, and to push some newer character developments relating to her white hair. The improved normal map is the real star of the show though

Let's Gooo! Re-texturing a model in Blender is far more efficient and easy to control than Photoshop. And I don't even have to worry about UVs and lining the textures up or anything! The new poster should be up tomorrow afternoon! Here's a teaser as well.
