In early concepts, Jemadiah was the main villain, having used Zeo to raise the Tower of Babel to break into heaven either to challenge god or see his son again, unaware that his son was reincarnated.
The story would've ended with battling his weapon and Zeo falling from heaven.
Jonah attaches webs to his knives so he can throw them and pull them back, and use them to grapple things.
This was an idea for an older oc named Dio Artes, who I've only drawn once a long time ago, and not even with his dagger/string combo. I don't know if he still has them.
That's his family's ship over to the right of Cherente's submerged face in this old drawing. They use webs for sails.

Yes hello I have too many and there's more than that also
Cherente has a lot of serpent themes going on, but that doesn't mean exclusively snake-like. There's some eel and worm/slug/leech qualities, and all the worm tails act as her legs, hair, and fingers.
Leviathans having a lot of different descriptions in mythologies helped a lot. https://t.co/gj7UurDQEG
It's kind of hard to tell right now (I'm working on making his joints look more buggy) but Jemadiah is based on bugs, not really anything specific though, just on a weird nightmare I had about some kind of really weird wall with weird eyes on it that my brain identified as a bug. https://t.co/hXIkm722fO
