An episode helmed by an industry legend, filled with subtly complex layout work, a lot of fun ideas, and lots of charm!

Blob Sakura supremecy!

Dot 2.0 is 200% smugger than her previous model, and is absolutely adorable!

Amai did an amazing job with this!

This is a straight-up 11/10 episode.

The premise is intriguing, Kanbe's boards flow beautifully and look fantastic, and Koga's supervision is downright delightful!

Up there with Episode 3 as one of the strongest early outings in CCS!

Kanbe's inspired direction & strong layouts combined with Koga's loose & fun supervision make for one of the best episodes so far!

The cartoony goodness in this episode is on point!

The Artn this one deviates quite a bit but to good effect! i imagine part of that is thanks to Nakanishi who also has Bomberman Bidaman Bakugaiden, and the 1994 adaptation of Mahoujin Guru Guru on his resume.

So these fun gag driven episodes are certainly within his wheelhouse
