TBH Water might be my favorite Card design in CCS.

Kiro describes it as a very 'aggressive' card and the bestial look here just sells it, with the teeth, headband the eyes, and fins.

it feels like something out of a fisherman's folk tale.

Having an entire post-episode sequence dedicated to fashion is indeed very Clamp

i never noticed back then, but the coloring for this whole library section is just really nice.

Almost feels like Sakura's eyes have a glow to them.

Good cartoon status is already cemented, we can only go up from here.

Oh right WEP was a Funi show too.

Even the booru uploads had some of that scuff. So everyone spent an entire day going between different encoders, settings, scripts, trying to find the problem and attempting to fix it.

in the end, we concluded Funi's encode is just fucked lmao

Yabai aside, I do appreciate that Suzuki allowed Matsutake to more or less go uncorrected, his part almost wouldn't look out of place in Medarot

As to be expected of the famed "Golden Combination" of Tsuru & Suzuki, it is an absolute powerhouse of a 2-parter. every drawing is filled with volume and every layout is complex.

The mood & pacing is entirely different, it is an experience to say the least.
