Palette based graphics + magic wand tool are a pretty effective combination when doing background removal !
One thing I'd been wanting to try out was a convex hull script I found for modo - it made short work of shrink wrapping the tail rotor piece and also helped with the main body. (2/3)
Finally joined up all of the pieces needed to get curves out of Modo, through my toolchain and into the engine and on-screen.
I'm still considering how/where to use them for this game, but the bridge seemed like a good place to at least show them in action. #gamedev

Experimenting with an *optional* 256-color enhanced mode. 16-color EGA mode will still be supported, but a game from 1992 would have been capable of this, so why not! #gamedev #flightsim
Trying to finish off various milestone loose-ends, I've made the formerly blocky right-angled coastline look far more interesting. #gamedev
