Quick update, variants! Different colors are gotten through breeding. Black ones are bred below y=0. Pale ones are bred in the nether, and Frost ones are bred in cold biomes, each with different stinger effects! (Just like mo' creatures again lol)

Scorpions! Based on the old Mo' Creatures lads, these skittering bastards can be raised from birth to be faithful mounts and companions! However, acquiring the children is a bit morally questionable...

Dwelling deep beneath the surface are marvelous and horrible things. One of which being the Ossein, undead shells of ancient creatures that attract beautiful schools of floating creatures formed from bone and tar.

Grand Croakers are gluttonous beasts more fortunate than their underdeveloped kin. They will viciously defend their nest, throwing you around with their immense girth. If befriended, you can have them swallow mobs and spit them out where you please.

Hollowed Croakers are small birds that reside in crimson forests. They let out haunting squawks and croaks, mourning their missing souls. If you return to them a spark of what they've lost, then maybe they'll lend you a hand in carrying stuff around.

Dune bugs are neutral critters who nest on cacti. They will viciously defend their homes from monsters and players alike. If you cultivate a few nests, maybe they could defend your home as well... Also they taste like gritty crab meat!
