Among the common beasts of the underground you will sometimes find a malevolent spirit. These giggling bundles of malice are known as Grimhands. Their only goal is to appease their gnawing lust for life by amassing useless trinkets that remind them of who they once were.

The Sand Snarks! (They're not sharks, shut up). These irritable desert arthropods swim through the sand in small groups, searching for prey to leap at and crunch up with their big ol' jaws.

Here is the Candied Brackjaw, a 19 block long reef-dwelling arthropod that burrows into the ground and leaves it's large mandibles sticking up in the air to look like a coral shelter for creatures. It will spring up to attack anything unfortunate enough to move over it.

I just finished this mud golem! Curious constructs who defend swamp villages from the monsters that lurk in the night. Don't anger them though! They can throw mud balls to slow you down, and then hobble over to finish you off.

This crabby fellow right here is... actually unnamed. It's some sort of acidic crab thing. I wouldn't touch it, but who knows, maybe it just needs a hug?

This is one of my weirder creations that I made far too late at night. These worms built themselves limbs with their ingenuity, and use them purely for mischief.

Here we have the scatterbacks, volatile little bastards who can detonate the spine filled sack on their back at any moment. Though sometimes they grow to become not so little.
