It's actually wild how little screentime Kurapika has had since chapter 376, with only 19 total pages across 23 chapters (437 pages), far less than Hinrigh (67 pages).
I'm so excited for the return of the king, to remind us of who the real protagonist of this arc is.
Chrollo and Pakunoda's dynamic was the best part of the chapter for me, it is so wholesome and recontexualizes Yorknew in a far more tragic light.
They were so happy back then, just kids being kids, the world is simply cruel 🥲
When I think about it... the Phantom Troupe might just be my favorite execution of the found family trope.
It's way more interesting to see it being done for an antagonistic group, yet still evoke the same kind of emotion it normally would, although in a more conflicting way.
I don't think enough about just how raw of a character Kurapika is tbh, and the fact that he stands out in a series like HxH that already has so many raw characters says a lot.
