I was really hoping the Japanese and US versions would be different. Can you even tell which is which in these pics?

The left is the US version. The right is the Japanese version. They're not IDENTICAL but it's not a major change.

It's one of the worst brawlers ever. The auto-scrolling makes it feel like you're getting the bum's rush through stages. The fact that there's NO OOMPH AT ALL hurts a ton.

Right off the bat you just punch a car and the car poofs into a coin. Movement is lose, and the first door has you playing Rock-Paper-Scissors. WHAT IS WITH THIS FUCKING SERIES AND ROCK-PAPER-SCISSORS?

Oh god I hate this fucking series.

One of the worst failures on OOMPH is the Genny version of Altered Beast. When you get right down to it, it's a muscular dude punching brittle undead things. It should feel very violent, but it just feels like hitting nothing. AND IT DOES THINGS RIGHT, like rearing back to punch.
