The film's producers were very aggressive in shopping it around, and instead of trying to sell distribution of the FILM, they first went around looking for people to partner on the merch. Their pitch was, and I'm not joking here, "dinosaurs are way cooler than turtles."

Yikes.

Spike McFang seems fine. Another one of those free-agent type of games that @evercaderetro might want to track-down for a cart.

- Boring gameplay. Horrible collision detection. Poor shading makes judging angles/distance for isometric platforming hard. Total lack of direction.

I slew a troll.

I don't want to say there's nothing here, because there's something compelling about the concept, but it gets old fast, and the collision and movement just frustrates.

I wonder if this was a dig at the "open secret?" How ironic is it that Ken Griffey Jr presents Major League Baseball, a game starring the best player NOT on steroids of an era, is filled with players so roided out of their minds that their testicles are the size of ball bearings?

So how does it play?

On one hand, it's clearly a better game than any baseball titles on the NES (and I played them all during #IGCvNES).

On the other hand, it is quite mediocre. Griffey apparently personally disliked it, which was why a new developer was tapped for the sequel.
