Honestly, this is just like a slower version of the NES game that I already gave a firm NO to last year. Nothing is going to change here.
Buzz is Addams Family on the SNES is a genuinely quality game, maybe Ocean's best licensed game. But this isn't any indicator of it.
Since @SolidRoar mentioned The Flash, that reminds me of another game I missed in the list..
Incredible Hulk. The literal opposite of the Flash.
Well, I mean, besides Reverse Flash.
😶
Paint the wall?
THIS BETTER END WITH HAVING MUSCLE MEMORY FOR A DEFENSIVE KARATE MOVE OR I'M GOING TO BE PISSED!
Before I do the Simpsons, a quick look at another licensed game I missed..
The Flintstones.
The #IGCvMasterSystem Spring Break arcade port lineup will include:
Altered Beast
After Burner
Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (Battletoads on Sega, yo!)
Bubble Bobble
Rainbow Islands
Double Dragon
Gauntlet
Ghouls 'n Ghosts
Golden Axe
Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat 2
Mortal Kombat 3..
True? OR, did someone at Disney throw a fit after they read the universal bad reviews for this and use the "we forgot to clear it with Roy" excuse?
So @AlNilsen, throw us a bone here. Do you think Roy E. Disney REALLY saw this and freaked or did Disney just want it to go away?
Sorry guys, that's a wrap on the Genny for now. But one last point.
Legend has it someone at Sega got a call one day from someone at Disney claiming Roy E. Disney had a pissy fit over Disney giving Sega the greenlight to do a Fantasia game without clearing it with him first.
You know what? I'm stunned. This isn't half bad at all. I'm enjoying it.
Does it feel like a James Bond game? Lulz, not at all. It's just a generic pew pew platformer.
But fun is fun says I.
I'm going to have to try the Genesis version soon. The SMS version is boring. Really, really boring.
And the bad guy looks nothing like Joe Pesci.
And finally, here's Asterix and the Great Rescue, which shares a name with the Genesis game and began production BEFORE the previous game, but came out a year after. Ugh, that's ominous.
